What is the value of coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between you and your coach with the purpose of enhancing your life experience, skills, performance, capacities and wellbeing. Through coaching, you will focus on setting goals, creating outcomes and enabling transformation.

The role of the coach?

Coaches are experts in human behaviour. They are able to identify patterns and guide you to your own conclusions through questioning.

The most effective coach will have experience in your domain – whether it be the tech industry, leadership, strategy or people management – so they can relate more deeply to your context.

A professional coach will challenge you and help you to stretch your thinking once a trusted relationship has been established. They will hold space to enable reflection and insights. A coach will encourage you to take action , serve as your accountability partner and celebrate your wins with you.

As per the International Coaching Federation (ICF) code of ethics, a professional coach should always maintain strict confidentiality and a non-judgemental attitude.

When is coaching most successful?

In order to be coachable, you need to be open-minded, curious, keen to explore and willing to expand your thinking, be challenged, and be interested in growing as a human and as a professional. You also need to be ready to take action and have some level of courage.

The Coaching Journey with Zen High Achiever

During your free consultation, you’ll share more about your personal and professional context, current challenges and goals, with Principal Coach Nathalie Heynderickx. Together, you will choose a program that best suits your needs.

You will launch with a strategy session to outline what success looks like for you and define how to measure it. After completing a few assessments, Nathalie will establish a baseline for you to grow from.

Your coaching program officially kicks off. According to your needs, meetings are weekly or fortnightly. At the mid-point of your program, you will pause to reflect and realign your goals if necessary.

4

At the end your program, you may choose to progress to another coaching experience. If you conclude here, Nathalie follows up in a few months to discuss your progress.
